It was a fantastic experience. Pretty standard and nice venue, exceptional location very close to an activities for all ages as well as the centre of Pacific Harbour, really enjoyed our stay. The service was incredible as we had expected. Outdoor bar was nice.

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a cozy area, near to more restaurants, and Beqa Island. the staff were genuinely helpful and had a great attitude. - the room was beautifully maintained and huge, with a comfortable bed. - Having different refreshing drinks in the outdoor bar was a very nice touch.

I loved the beach bures right on the beach. We could sit on our deck and watch the kids swimming in the sea. It was fully booked but didn't feel crowded. The bures were spacious.
I think for the price I expected more. We have stayed in other resorts around Fiji for a similar price but they have been fully self contained. We stayed in the older beach bures for the same price friends of ours were staying in the brand new villa bures which seemed very odd as their bure had a tv, indoor bathroom and seperate bedroom.

Nice beach, cute cottage, great food.
Altho each cottage has its own bathroom, you have to go outside to use it.

Had a nice time here for a chill vacation. the room was modern with AC and the staff were super friendly. the yummy and reasonably priced breakfast at the egg station, made by a young, pleasant boy, was a highlight for us. 🍳 We really enjoyed it.

Location as it is away from both Nadi and Suva about half-way between. On the beach, very peaceful and relaxing. With direct access to the beach. The staff, amenities and food very good. Look forward to return visit. Very pleased with our stay as it is not crowded and personalized.

Good location, gardens were well kept.
Poor maintenance, rooms are not clean and furnishings old and some are unservicable. Towels were dirty, Staff in general were friendly but receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpfull. Food was consistantly bad and resulted in mild food poisoning.

The room was large, luxurious, and the beds were very comfortable; the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, particularly at reception, and the pool area was fantastic!

I just wanted to relax with a book in a laid back small resort after an adventuresome holiday in Tonga. The Uprising had everything I wanted and my short stay there was very comfortable and pleasing. I especially loved my little Bure and the beach was perfect. Thank you so much . Regards, Joanne Wyles.

Ocean side villa was beautiful. We could hear the ocean waves even when the windows were closed. Large back porch looked out to the ocean. Had 2 straight chairs and a small table. Would have liked to also have 2 reclining chairs. We were in the last villa which was nice for privacy . The rooms don't have phones in them so it was necessary to walk up to the office for any needs or questions. Not a big deal except I had injured my knee river rafting so it was hard to hobble up to the office. The concrete paths are very wide and would easily accommodate a golf cart to assist with luggage transfers or handicapped people. Had a wonderful massage in my villa. Wish I had done one both days that we were at the resort. The grounds surrounding the resort are very lush and pretty. Lots of activities offered. Open air restaurant was nice, food was good. Overall, we loved our stay at the Uprising and would highly recommend it.
Trash on beach after you walked past the villas.

Staff was very helpful with checking on our scheduled program (arranging pick up, confirming our arrival with diving/rafting operators). All else was good, within our expectations. We were much happier with fish meals than meat ones (generally true for all of our Fiji experience).
There was a minor mix up of our booking - the staff interpreted the Booked.net letter as if only 1 dorm bed was booked, while we had 3 beds. This is equally the fault of Booked.net formatting of their emails, I had to look at it several times to make sense of the booking myself. As a result, we had to stay first night in different dorms. Not a big issue but when you book through Booked.net, maybe add a comment/note in which you again mention "so many beds are needed in the same dorm" to help the staff notice that more than one person is coming.
